Financial Controller

Location: Llanelli
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 (DOE)
Contract: 9-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: Full-Time

Robert Half is delighted to be supporting a well-established business in Llanelli with the recruitment of an experienced Financial Controller on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join a growing organisation during a key period of change and development. Reporting directly to senior leadership, the successful candidate will take ownership of the finance function, ensuring robust financial control, accurate reporting, and effective business partnering across the organisation.

• Lead and manage the day-to-day finance function.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reporting, and board packs.
• Deliver accurate budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Oversee year-end processes and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Support strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis.
• Manage and develop finance team members where applicable.
• Drive process improvements and identify efficiencies across finance operations.
• Partner with key stakeholders across the business to support commercial objectives.

• Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Senior Finance Manager role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong systems skills, including advanced Excel knowledge.
