Job summary

We are delighted to welcome applications for a Specialist Paediatric Diabetes Dietitian to join our dedicated Paediatric Diabetes Team. You will provide expert nutritional assessment, advice, and education to children and young people living with diabetes, supporting them and their families to achieve the best possible health outcomes.

You will manage a varied and complex caseload, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised, evidence-based care. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued development and delivery of high-quality paediatric diabetes services across North and Mid Bedfordshire, while supporting service improvement and innovation.

Main duties of the job

You will provide specialist dietetic care to children and young people living with diabetes, managing a varied and complex caseload across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will deliver expert nutritional education, advice, and support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure personalised, evidence-based care.

The role also provides opportunities to contribute to service development and improvement initiatives, clinical audit, staff training, and the ongoing development and delivery of high-quality, evidence-based paediatric diabetes services.
