Experience
Data Management:
Demonstrate experience of managing data assets and information systems, ensuring data is effectively sourced, stored, governed and utilised to support service objectives.
Data Quality Assurance, Validation and Cleaning:
Demonstrate expertise in creating and applying data quality frameworks for Children and Families to resolve inaccuracies. Hold stakeholders responsible for addressing problems and drive ongoing enhancement in data standards.
Data Visualisation and Analysis: Demonstrate experience identifying stakeholder needs and delivering intelligence products, dashboards, and analysis supporting decisions and service improvements (including ability to summarise the analysis for high level stakeholders).
Data Governance: Demonstrate expertise in data procurement while adhering to security protocols, sharing practices, legislation, policies, and standards.
Team and task management: Demonstrate experience leading multidisciplinary teams to develop, deliver, and improve data and intelligence services, products, and processes.
Show understanding of challenges affecting Local Government, partners, policies, procedures, and changes shaping service provision.
Skills & Ability
- Demonstrate expertise in data management, analysis, and reporting using SQL Server, Fabric/Azure, Power BI tools. Deliver oversight and assurance across data systems, recognise data quality risks, and enable evidence-based decisions.
- Demonstrate capability to engage and negotiate with stakeholders to balance priorities, align expectations, and achieve objectives.
- Demonstrate capacity to establish and sustain credible professional relationships, developing trust, improving collaboration, and resolving conflicts constructively.
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adapting styles to engage, inform, and influence audiences.
