Are you an experienced Children's Social Work Leader with strong management oversight and recent court practice expertise?
Bradford Children and Families Trust is recruiting a dedicated Team Manager to join their fast-paced Duty & Assessment service. Offering a competitive pay rate of £40.00 per hour, this role requires a confident manager capable of driving practice quality, managing initial child protection investigations, and overseeing complex legal and court proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:-
Operational Management: Provide day-to-day leadership, decision-making, and reflective supervision for a team of frontline Social Workers in a fast-paced Duty & Assessment environment.

Court & PLO Oversight: Lead and direct statutory interventions involving care proceedings, Public Law Outline (PLO) pre-proceedings, and court work, ensuring high-quality evidence and reporting.

Risk Management & Triage: Maintain robust management oversight on incoming assessments, Section 47 enquiries, and strategy discussions to ensure child-centred safety planning.

Performance & Compliance: Drive team performance, statutory compliance, and assessment quality, working collaboratively with multi-agency partners.

Qualifications & SWE: Recognised Social Work qualification with active Social Work England (SWE) registration.

Management Experience: Proven experience as a Team Manager or Advanced Practitioner within statutory Children's Social Care (specifically Duty & Assessment or Frontdoor/MASH settings).

Court Expertise:Recent, direct court experience and deep working knowledge of the Public Law Outline (PLO) framework and care proceedings.

Adaptable Working: Ability to manage a hybrid schedule, attending the office for critical service tasks and team collaborative days.
