Job Specific Requirements Recycling Administrator
1. To assist the Housing Options Service in providing a comprehensive service to help clients who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
2. To process applications for bonds and rent in advance.
3. To provide information and advice to client presenting to the service by telephone, email, web chat and face to face.
4. To provide advice to staff and customers and partners (including private landlords, letting agencies and social letting agencies) in relations to private sector accommodation available.
5. To process applications from homeless clients, and provide support to assessment officers as required.
6. To provide assistance to ensure the housing waiting list is up to date
7. To assist in the preparation and presentation of information as required, including statistical information.
8. To ensure good communication is maintained within the team, providing cover for other officers and contributing to the work of the team as a whole
8. To carry out any general office duties as reasonably required including maintaining all necessary records and to providing monitoring information as required.
9. To work to meet individual and team targets ensuring KPI targets are met.
11. To seek to ensure customer satisfaction, by working to improve customer service, and resolve customer complaints.
12. To assist in the co-ordination and operation of any Quality systems adopted by the service area.
13. To assist in developing and improving the Service, complying with all legislative requirements and council processes.
15. To carry out secure handling of confidential data, complying with Council Policies and Procedures.

In order to support you in this, you are required to access safeguarding training at the level which is relevant to this post.
4. As a term of your employment you may be required to undertake such other duties and/or times of work as may reasonably be required of you, commensurate with your grade or general level of responsibility within the organisation.
5. Although you will be provided with a base, you will be required to work from various locations in accordance with the needs of the role.
