ABOUT THE ROLE As Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your focus will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the resident's physical, cognitive, and social well-being. Other responsibilities will include: Maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home. Reporting any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and the care staff. Supporting with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
Main duties of the job
The Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Avery Healthcare will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of residents by providing various activities to support their physical, cognitive, and social well-being. The role involves working closely with the Wellbeing Coordinator to plan and execute activities, reporting residents' condition changes, and maintaining a safe environment. The ideal candidate should have effective communication skills, a deep understanding of the role interaction plays in well-being, a positive attitude toward older people, and experience working in a Dementia setting. This permanent position offers £12.72 per hour, requiring a DBS check and proof of UK work eligibility.
