Job summary
The Willow Group has an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) to join our forward-thinking and innovative GP group, providing primary care services to approximately 48,000 patients across five sites in Gosport.
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to patients. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other qualified healthcare professional, you will provide physical and psychological support in accordance with individual care plans and practice procedures.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
- Support patients with a range of clinical and healthcare needs.
- Undertake delegated clinical duties within your level of competence.
- Observe, record, and report patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Promote patient dignity, wellbeing, and independence at all times.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a healthcare support role.
- Has phlebotomy experience and competencies.
- Demonstrates a caring, compassionate, and professional attitude.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Is committed to delivering outstanding patient care.

Across Hampshire, our community hospitals provide inpatient rehabilitation as a step down from acute care, and our dedicated teams also staff Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Portsmouth, offering expert, compassionate support.
