Drama Teacher | Birmingham

Full-Time | Maternity Cover | £170-£220 per day

Aspire People are seeking an experienced and confident Drama Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position at a secondary school in Birmingham.

The school is looking for a strong classroom practitioner who can deliver engaging Drama lessons while maintaining consistently high standards of behaviour and learning.

Strong behaviour and classroom management is essential for this position. The successful teacher will need to be confident working within a busy secondary school environment and able to establish clear expectations with pupils from the outset.

The role will involve teaching Drama across the required Key Stages, with full responsibility for planning, marking and assessment.

You will also provide targeted intervention where required, helping pupils make progress and supporting improvements in attainment.

We are looking for a teacher with relevant secondary Drama teaching experience, strong subject knowledge and a proven track record of maintaining good behaviour within the classroom.

QTS or QTLS is preferred, with experienced Drama teachers particularly encouraged to apply.

This is a full-time maternity cover position, with the exact start date currently being confirmed by the school.
