Teaching Assistant for Children with Complex Disabilities

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people in their education and development?

We are looking for a caring, dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant for Children with Complex Disabilities to join a range of schools across Wirral to support children and young people with complex disabilities. This is a highly rewarding role for someone who is compassionate, nurturing, and confident in providing both educational and 1:1 support.

If you have worked in a classroom setting or have supported vulnerable children and young adults, and you are based in Wirral, we encourage you to apply!

As a Teaching Assistant for Children with Complex Disabilities, you will be:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to students.
• Supporting children with complex learning, physical and communication needs.
• Assisting with personal care.
• Experienced in PEG feeding.
• Using positive and appropriate behavioural management strategies.

As a Teaching Assistant for Children with Complex Disabilities, you will:

• Be based in Wirral or surrounding areas, or be willing to travel.
• Have previous experience in a classroom or working with children.
• Be confident in providing 1:1 support.
• Be experienced in PEG feeding and providing personal care.
• Be proactive and dedicated to engaging with students and assisting in their learning and development.
