Linux Endpoint Security Engineer - Intune, Microsoft Defender, Endpoint

A client of mine within Higher Education is currently looking for a Linux Endpoint Security Engineer with a strong background supporting Linux desktop / End-User endpoints environments.

To be successful, you will demonstrate practical experience of using Linux, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint together within a production environment.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience supporting Linux desktop/end-user endpoint environments.
• Hands-on experience managing Linux devices through Microsoft Intune.
• Strong experience deploying and configuring Microsoft Defender for Endpoint on Linux.
• Ability to integrate Linux, Intune and Defender into a secure endpoint management solution.
• Experience onboarding and managing Linux devices within an enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with wider Microsoft Security and Endpoint Management technologies.
• Strong understanding of Endpoint Security, compliance and vulnerability management.
• Experience with Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Knowledge of synthetic device objects within Microsoft Endpoint management environments.
• Experience with Vulnerability Management tools.
• Flexibility to go on-site 1 day a week in London

Nice to Have:

• Available immediately
• Experience working within a Managed SOC or enterprise security environment.
• Understanding of endpoint detection, vulnerability remediation and compliance controls.
