Location: Greenwich (near Charlton)
Start Date: 14th September 2026
Contract: Full-time | Long-term (with potential to become permanent)
Pay: £95-£115 per day (dependent on experience)

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join its team from September 2026.

This Learning Support Assistant role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with children and wants to play a key role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning. You will support children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing a mixture of classroom assistance, targeted interventions and one-to-one support where required.

The school has a strong commitment to inclusion and provides excellent support for both pupils and staff, making it an ideal environment for an experienced Learning Support Assistant or someone looking to develop a career in education.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils during whole-class lessons and independent learning
• Deliver small-group interventions in literacy and mathematics
• Provide one-to-one support for pupils requiring additional guidance
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence
• Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to monitor pupil progress

The school is looking for a Learning Support Assistant who:

• Has experience working with primary-aged children
• Is patient, enthusiastic and adaptable
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Has good communication and organisational skills
• Is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential

Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable but not essential.
