An Outstanding-rated specialist SEN school in Southeast, Greenwich are seeking a passionate and resilient part-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team for the academic year.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with pupils with complex and profound additional needs, including Autism, severe learning difficulties and complex communication needs. You'll provide personalised one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils access learning, develop independence and build essential communication and life skills.

Job Description - SEN Teaching Assistant
- SEN Teaching Assistant - Specialist SEN School
- ASAP start
- £105 - £120 per day
- Part Time, long-term contract
- Dedicated support from experienced teachers and specialist SEN professionals
- Access to specialist training and opportunities for ongoing professional development
- Valuable hands-on experience supporting pupils with complex needs in a specialist SEN environment
PERSON SPECIFICATION- SEN Teaching Assistant
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable
- Experience supporting pupils with Autism or complex needs would be advantageous
- Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs
- Empathetic and understanding approach when supporting pupils with complex needs
- Adaptable and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Willing to learn and develop within a specialist SEN environment
