Azure Data Architect

Azure Data Architect | Hybrid | Leeds | Inside IR35 | £600 | 12 months

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to play a key role in designing and shaping enterprise-wide data solutions. Working across a range of technology initiatives, you will provide architectural leadership, ensure alignment with best practices, and help deliver scalable, secure, and business-focused data platforms.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience in data architecture design, modelling techniques, tools, and industry standards.
• Ability to present architecture solutions to governance and technical review boards.
• Knowledge of Data Modelling, MDM, Metadata Management, and Data Governance.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, including pub/sub and data streaming patterns.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerisation, networking, and cloud best practices.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments, including CI/CD practices.
• Proven ability to support and shape technology projects, programmes, and strategic initiatives.

Desirable Skills

• Strong data communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of data governance, modelling, standards, and metadata management.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective data architecture solutions.
