The HR Training & Development Quality Assurance Administrator provides administrative and coordination support to the HR function, ensuring effective planning, monitoring, recording, and quality assurance of employee learning, development, appraisal, and probationary review processes. The postholder will support CPD delivery, maintain training compliance records, coordinate performance reviews, and help ensure policies and procedures are consistently applied.

The Role
- Coordinate and administer training and development programmes
- Maintain accurate training records and learning management systems
- Monitor mandatory training completion and provide compliance reports
- Schedule training sessions, workshops, inductions, and CPD activities
- Liaise with managers, employees, and external providers on training requirements and bookings
- Support evaluation of training effectiveness via feedback and reporting
- Help identify development needs through appraisal outcomes and organisational requirements
- Track professional registrations, certifications, and CPD requirements
- Maintain quality assurance of staff training, development, and competency records
- Audit personnel files, training records, appraisal and probationary documentation
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and legislatively compliant
- Produce reports on training compliance, appraisal completion, probation, and workforce metrics
- Coordinate the annual appraisal process, including schedules, reminders, and documentation
- Monitor completion rates and escalate overdue reviews
- Coordinate probationary reviews, including timelines, documentation, and outcomes
- Maintain confidential employee records per data protection requirements
- Support HR projects, workforce development, induction, and onboarding
- Respond to routine employee and manager queries
- Support policy implementation and process improvement within HR
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) including English and Maths
- Relevant qualification in HR, Business Administration, L&D, or equivalent experience
- Previous administrative experience in HR, L&D, Training Administration, or similar
- Experience maintaining accurate records and databases
- Experience coordinating meetings, training events, or review processes
- Experience producing reports and management information
- Understanding of HR processes including training, performance management, and probation
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion
- Data analysis and reporting skills
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
- Experience using HRIS and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Knowledge of quality assurance and compliance monitoring
- Experience supporting CPD programmes and workforce development
