The Opportunity

Creative Recruitment is partnering with a leading creative agency to appoint a talented Retail Designer to join their expanding creative team.

This is a unique opportunity for a concept-driven Retail Designer to develop innovative retail experiences for premium global brands within travel retail and airport environments worldwide.

This role is not focused on production-heavy retail rollouts. Instead, the emphasis is on creative strategy, brand experience, and bringing brands to life in physical spaces.

You will create retail concepts, immersive brand worlds, and customer journeys that resonate both creatively and commercially, guiding projects from initial strategic ideas through to implementation.

The position offers the chance to work with internationally recognised premium brands and collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and retail stakeholders on global projects.

• Develop innovative retail concepts and immersive brand environments for premium consumer brands

• Design engaging customer journeys and physical brand experiences

• Translate brand strategies and creative insights into dynamic retail environments

• Lead spatial and experiential design concepts from ideation to delivery

• Contribute to global travel retail and airport retail programmes

• Collaborate effectively with creative, marketing, retail, and project teams

• Present concepts and ideas confidently to internal teams and clients

• Support the creative development process through to production and execution

About You

We are seeking an experienced Retail Designer with a strong portfolio and a passion for brand-led spatial design.

Ideal candidates will have:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in retail design

• A compelling portfolio showcasing retail environments and concept development

• Proven experience creating consumer-facing physical brand experiences

• Excellent spatial design and retail storytelling skills

• The ability to originate innovative concepts rather than merely executing existing templates

• Proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite

• Strong presentation and communication skills

• Ability to collaborate productively within a creative team and with clients

Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous:

• Travel retail

• Airport retail

What’s on Offer

• £60,000–£70,000 salary plus benefits

• £80,000 maximum salary for an outstanding candidate

• Hybrid working – 2–3 days per week in the London office

• Opportunity to work with globally recognised premium brands

• Involvement in international travel retail and airport projects

• Collaborative and creative working environment

• Influence projects from concept through to delivery
