We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Administrator to join a growing construction business. This is a great opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual looking to develop their commercial administration experience.
The role will initially be fully remote for the first few weeks, before moving to a flexible hybrid arrangement from October, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
You will provide day-to-day commercial administration support, helping to ensure processes, records and documentation are accurate and well organised.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and monitoring purchase orders.
- Filing and checking invoices, including identifying duplicates.
- Ensuring documentation aligns with agreed scopes of work.
- Maintaining accurate commercial records and filing systems.
- Supporting the wider commercial team with general administration.
- Following up on missing or incorrect documentation.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confident working with invoices, purchase orders and documentation.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Previous construction or commercial administration experience is desirable but not essential.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
- £20–£22 per hour, depending on experience.
- Umbrella payment arrangement.
- Fully remote initially, moving to flexible hybrid working.

We are specifically looking for individuals who have previously worked within a commercial, construction, contracting, engineering, or similar environment.
