Primary Teaching Assistant - EYFS / KS1 / KS2

EdEx are currently working with a long-standing primary school client based in the Borough of Hackney, who are looking for a vibrant, engaging, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This diverse and inclusive primary school is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Within your role as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will provide general support to pupils with their education as well as targeted 1:1 support to pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, Global Delay and Down Syndrome. You will also assist with the management of the class, carry out interventions and deliver programmes tailored to children's needs.

Primary Assistant- Job Description

• Teaching Assistant providing SEN & EYFS Support both group / 1:1
• ASAP Start
• £105 - £120 per day
• Full-time, full academic year, term-time only (no weekends)
• Based in Hackney

Primary Teaching Assistant- Role

• Provide support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 with SEN & behavioural requirements
• Work with groups of children to carry out valuable interventions.
• Use your creativity and compassion to excite and educate the pupils
• Strong inclusion team to support you and the pupils

Ideal Primary Teaching Assistant

• Previous experience working with children.
• A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish within.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities!
