Summary
We are seeking an outstanding Assistant Basketball Coach to work within our high performing Academy, supporting the Lead Basketball Coach in the delivery and development of the Academy’s basketball programme.
Main Areas of Responsibility
You will provide high-quality coaching to secondary-age students, supporting their technical, tactical, physical and personal development. You will contribute to the preparation and delivery of training sessions, fixtures and competitions and help to establish a culture of high expectations, discipline, teamwork, resilience and sporting excellence.
You should be passionate about basketball and committed to using sport as a means of developing young people, both on and off the court.
Qualifications & ExperienceWe would like to hear from you if you have:
- Relevant basketball coaching qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience
- Experience of coaching or supporting basketball players. In game experience
- Experience of working with or supporting young people.
