Data Center Network Engineer

Data Center Network Engineer | £450-£475p/day (Inside IR35) | London (2 days on site) | 1 year contract | Cisco & Arista

We're looking for a DC Network Engineer to join one of our clients. You'll be part of a specialist network team responsible for maintaining and evolving critical data centre infrastructure across a multi-vendor Cisco and Arista estate. This role would suit an engineer that works in complex networks and production environments.

• Supporting and developing data centre network infrastructure across Cisco and Arista platforms
• Configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking
• Working with technologies including VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, OSPF, VLAN and STP
• Investigating and resolving network incidents within a live production environment
• Supporting network changes, implementations and ongoing infrastructure improvements

What we're looking for:

• Proven hands-on experience with both Cisco and Arista networking technologies
• Good understanding of modern data centre networking
• Experience supporting business-critical production networks
• Experience working in regulated environments
