Job summary

We are looking to recruit up to 3 HR Advisors to join the Trusts Operational HR Team, within the People Function. There are permanent and fixed term (9-12 months) posts available, at either full time (37.5 hours) or part time (30 hours). This is an exciting role with a broad scope of responsibility so we are looking for individuals who will work well within a team to achieve results whilst maintaining first-class quality standards. This role will provide you with an opportunity for enhancing and developing skills and experience, as well as developing skills which are applicable to any role in HR. You will manage complex caseloads including attendance, grievance, disciplinary, capability and redeployment issues as well as delivering training programmes and providing coaching to managers dealing with a broad range of workforce matters. An eye-for-detail is also required for producing reports and investigating any trends within the data. Excellent communication skills at all levels are essential along with experience of being an effective team member.

Main duties of the job

You will support a number of our Clinical Service Units (CSUs) & Directorates to provide safe, effective and patient care. You will provide a proactive, client focused service with a specific aim of supporting the CSUs within the Trust. You will work closely with CSU managers to equip them with the skills, confidence and expertise to lead their teams effectively, influencing positive employee relations as well as driving the performance management agenda.
