Main duties of the job

As a Maintenance Assistant at a Barchester care home, your primary responsibility is to help create safe and attractive living spaces for residents. This involves undertaking a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the building and grounds are always well-maintained. The role is part-time, requiring 20 hours of work per week. You will need some experience in property maintenance, a patient and caring nature, and a genuine interest in the wellbeing of residents. Reliability and a readiness to address a range of tasks are also necessary.
