Northumberland County Council is recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated Cared for Child and PEP Co-ordinator to join our multi-disciplinary Virtual School.

This post is fixed term for 2 years.

The successful applicant will provide comprehensive admin support to the Virtual School, be enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable with a high level of communication skills.

The role will involve overseeing and ensuring that all relevant data relating to a child's care and educational status is updated in a timely manner across various systems and shared with Children's Social Care (CSC) and education settings. Responsibilities include coordinating the Personal Education Plan (PEP) process for the team by sharing, inputting, and analysing data, as well as producing graphs and reports as required. The role will also oversee the collection and recording of weekly attendance data, providing reports and information where needed. In addition, the postholder will create and maintain documents and resources using a range of systems and software, including Canva, PowerPoint, Word, and PEP-related systems, supporting data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Due to the needs of the service, a high level of accuracy is needed and considerable experience in all areas of admin support. You must be confident using various systems, have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work alone and as part of a team and the ability to meet deadlines is essential.

Recent experience in a similar role, education or children's social care would be beneficial, but training will be given to the right candidate.
