This Credit Controller role based in Reading focuses on managing and maintaining debtor accounts to ensure timely payments. You'll play a key part in supporting the financial health of the business within the retail industry.

Description
- Monitor and manage debtor accounts to ensure prompt payments.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and updates.
- Prepare and issue invoices, statements, and payment reminders.
- Liaise with clients to address queries and payment concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy.
- Assist in month-end reporting and account reconciliations.
- Contribute to improving credit control processes and systems.
Profile
A successful Credit Control professional should have:
- Experience in credit control or a similar accounting role.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
- An understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
Job Offer
- Salary between £28,000 and £32,000 dependent on the level of experience.
