Credit Control - 9 month FTC

This Credit Controller role based in Reading focuses on managing and maintaining debtor accounts to ensure timely payments. You'll play a key part in supporting the financial health of the business within the retail industry.

Description

• Monitor and manage debtor accounts to ensure prompt payments.
• Resolve payment discrepancies and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and updates.
• Prepare and issue invoices, statements, and payment reminders.
• Liaise with clients to address queries and payment concerns.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist in month-end reporting and account reconciliations.
• Contribute to improving credit control processes and systems.

Profile

A successful Credit Control professional should have:

• Experience in credit control or a similar accounting role.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.
• An understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.

Job Offer

• Salary between £28,000 and £32,000 dependent on the level of experience.
