Main duties of the job
The role of Cook at Trafalgar Care Home offers an opportunity for those who are passionate about culinary arts and have experience in catering to take on a challenging and rewarding position. The job includes crafting delicious meals that cater to individual dietary needs and creating themed dining experiences. Cooks will have the chance to work in a creative environment without evening shifts and enjoy every other weekend off. Moreover, this role offers opportunities for career development with fully funded training available up to QCF level 5, and access to a Blue Light discount package and company pension scheme. The successful candidate should have experience in a professional kitchen, be able to work according to a two-week rolling rota, and ideally have knowledge of the IDDSI framework. This role not only focuses on delivering great food but also on connecting and caring for the residents through culinary excellence.
