Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking for a Grounds maintenance operative:

Candidates should read the job description carefully and be prepared to discuss duties such as:

• Grass cutting and strimming
• Hedge and shrub maintenance
• Weeding, planting and general horticultural work
• Leaf clearance and litter picking
• Use and basic maintenance of grounds-maintenance machinery
• Keeping outdoor areas clean, safe and presentable
• Working as part of a team and sometimes independently
• Previous gardening, landscaping, grounds maintenance or outdoor work
• Using tools and machinery safely
• Working to deadlines or schedules
• Working in a team
• Working independently and using initiative
• Dealing with difficult weather or physically demanding work
