Role: Project Coordinator – Finance Transformation
Salary: £40K - £50K
Location: London
Contract: 12-month FTC
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join the Finance Transformation team of a successful investment firm on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role would suit someone who enjoys bringing everything together, keeping projects organised, maintaining accurate project information, following up on actions and helping ensure deadlines are met. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, internal teams and suppliers, using your attention to detail and strong communication skills to help keep projects moving smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities across a range of projects
- Maintain project plans, documentation, RAID logs and status updates
- Keep project management tools such as Asana up to date
- Organise project meetings and workshops, track actions and follow up on outstanding items
- Liaise with internal teams to gather information, updates and deliverables
- Coordinate with suppliers and external partners to follow up on actions and commitments
- Help monitor key deadlines and highlight any potential issues
- Support project reporting, governance and stakeholder communications
- Coordinate activities across different teams and help ensure everyone is aligned on next steps
- Support improvements to project coordination processes and ways of working
Who You Are
- 3+ years’ experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Officer or similar role
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
- Enjoys keeping project plans, logs, trackers and project management systems well maintained
- Comfortable following up with people for information, updates and actions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a busy environment
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Good at building positive working relationships with internal teams, suppliers and external partners
- Experience within a project, business or transformation environment would be beneficial
- Experience in finance or technology would be helpful, but we’re primarily looking for someone with strong project coordination and organisational skills
