Requirement to work one Saturday morning and one Monday evening pro rata (once every 7-9 weeks).

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing a friendly, professional and efficient service at all times. Working as part of a large reception team, your duties will include:

  • Greeting patients and visitors and dealing with enquiries in person, by telephone and online.
  • Booking, amending and cancelling appointments.
  • Processing prescription requests and other admin.
  • Managing patient information accurately and confidentially using the clinical computer system, EMIS.
  • Signposting patients to the most appropriate service or healthcare professional.
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy GP practice.
  • Working closely with clinicians and colleagues to deliver a high standard of patient care and customer service.

This is a varied and rewarding role in a fast-paced healthcare environment where no two days are the same.
