Private Client Solicitor – Locum

Location: Essex (office-based, hybrid or remote depending on the firm)

Rate: Competitive hourly rate

Job Type: Locum

We are working with a number of reputable firms across Essex seeking experienced Locum Private Client Solicitors to support their teams on a short- to medium-term basis.

The Role

As a Locum Solicitor, you will hit the ground running with a broad caseload of private client matters, including:

• Drafting and advising on Wills
• Probate and estate administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Trusts and inheritance tax planning
• Court of Protection work

You’ll be supported by friendly teams and competent support staff, though you’ll be expected to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• 3+ years' PQE in Private Client (strong experience essential)
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently
• STEP qualification is desirable but not essential
• Familiarity with case management systems
