- Weekly Pay: £500 - £525
- Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: Long-Term to Permanent
Long Term Futures are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Northfield. You will be based within a Year 3 class, providing whole-class support alongside additional SEN support for individual pupils.
The role will include supporting a pupil with SEMH needs, as well as assisting another member of staff with the personal care needs of a child in the class.
The Role- Provide whole-class support within a Year 3 classroom
- Support a pupil with SEMH and emotional regulation needs
- Provide 1:1 and small group support where required
- Assist another member of staff with a pupil's personal care
- Deliver targeted interventions and support learning activities
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement and independence
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team
- Previous Teaching Assistant experience within a primary school
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN and/or SEMH
- Comfortable supporting with personal care alongside another member of staff
- Confident providing whole-class, small group and 1:1 support
- Calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ofsted rated 'Good' primary school in Northfield, B31
