Year 3 Teacher

Are you a dedicated and nurturing individual looking for the opportunity to start or continue your career as a Year 3 Teacher?

We, Academics, are looking for a suitable candidate to support as a Year 3 Teacher for one of our well-respected schools in the Birmingham, B38 area. This Year 3 Teacher opportunity starts in September 2026 and is full-time supply role up until christmas.

Key responsibilities of a Year 3 Teacher include:

• Provide and encourage a safe and inclusive environment for pupils
• Plan and deliver quality lessons relevant to the national curriculum
• Ensure that teaching and lesson plans are adaptable for children with SEND
• Work in collaboration with a range of individuals, including colleagues and parents, to ensure the best outcomes for pupils

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A great and relevant understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
• Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed
• Full Teaching Responsibilities required (e.g. Planning)
