Are you an experienced administrator looking for a new opportunity within a supportive school environment? We are currently recruiting for a School Administrator to join a welcoming school on an ongoing basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, reliable and confident administrator who enjoys working in a busy environment and is comfortable dealing with staff, students, parents and visitors.
The RoleAs a School Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. You will need to be organised, approachable and able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
Key Duties-
Carrying out accurate data entry and maintaining school records
-
Chasing outstanding documents and information from staff, parents and relevant contacts
-
Covering the school reception, welcoming visitors and dealing with enquiries
-
Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
-
Maintaining accurate records and updating school systems
-
Supporting staff with general administrative tasks
-
Managing correspondence and documentation
-
Assisting with attendance and pupil administration
-
Preparing documents, letters and reports
-
Liaising with staff, parents and external contacts
-
Supporting the wider administration team during busy periods

Ensuring office procedures are followed accurately and efficiently
To be considered, you must have either:
-
Previous school administration experience, OR
-
At least 2 years' administration experience outside of the education sector
You will also need:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Excellent attention to detail

The ability to work calmly in a busy environment

Good IT and Microsoft Office skills

A professional and approachable manner

The ability to work effectively as part of a team
