Your role
We are looking for a professional to support the Centralised Payment Team in delivering exceptional client service while managing the end-to-end payment lifecycle for Wealth Management clients. The role requires strong operational expertise, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach within a highly regulated banking environment.
You will:
- Verify that payment instructions are in line with current and valid client indemnities, authorised signatures, Powers of Attorney, and Third-Party Mandates.
- Conduct payment call backs in a professional and client-focused manner to confirm instruction authenticity and support fraud prevention measures.
- Liaise with Client Advisors, Client Account Managers, Desk & Segment Heads, and other key stakeholders to ensure the timely execution and resolution of payment-related queries.
- Obtain appropriate exemptions, waivers, and approvals where required.
- Drive improvements to the overall client experience by collaborating with various teams across the bank.
- Ensure adherence to risk management controls and contribute to the identification and mitigation of potential risks.
- Produce and maintain appropriate management information (MI) and reporting.
You will work with
- The Centralised Payment Team within the Front Support Organisation.
- Client Advisors, Client Account Managers, Desk & Segment Heads, and other internal stakeholders.
Your expertise
- Industry experience with knowledge of key banking and operational procedures, ideally including payments.
- Experience in client services with direct exposure to client interactions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and efficiently while meeting deadlines and cut-off times.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Good understanding of Financial Crime and Fraud prevention principles.
- Confidence in building and maintaining professional relationships across different teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, organised, and service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and control.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to client service excellence.
