About the Role
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons that support pupil's academic, social, and emotional development. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential while following the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
* Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Assess, monitor, and report on pupil's progress and attainment
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
* Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
* Support pupil's personal, social, and emotional development
* Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives
* Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the wellbeing of all pupils
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (ECTs are welcome to apply)
* Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Passion for delivering creative and engaging learning experiences
* Commitment to high standards of teaching and pupil achievement
* A caring, positive, and flexible approach to teaching and learning
* Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
