About this job

A Global Investment Bank is seeking a Third Party & Outsourcing Risk Analyst for a 6-month contract paying up to £435 per day Umbrella, supporting its Operational Risk Controls & Governance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Operational Risk, Third Party Risk or Outsourcing professional to play a key role in strengthening the organisation's third-party and outsourcing risk framework, working with stakeholders across the business and wider group.

The Role

You will support the development and implementation of the UK Third Party and Outsourcing strategy, ensuring arrangements are appropriately governed and aligned with regulatory expectations and internal risk policies.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the governance and oversight of third-party and outsourcing arrangements.
  • Working with business owners and subject matter experts to identify outsourced relationships and complete risk assessments.
  • Ensuring third-party and outsourcing arrangements comply with relevant regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Maintaining the third-party and outsourcing register, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Supporting the appropriate governance of contracts, SLAs and outsourcing arrangements.
  • Identifying, escalating and tracking material risks and issues.
  • Producing MI, reports and presentations for senior stakeholders and relevant risk committees.
  • Supporting remediation activity where control gaps or issues are identified.
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Operations, Procurement and the wider business.
About You

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years' experience within one or more of the following areas:

  • Third Party Risk Management
  • Outsourcing Risk / Outsourcing Management
  • Operational Risk
  • Non-Financial Risk
  • Regulatory Risk or Compliance

Experience within banking or broader financial services is highly desirable, although candidates from a relevant consultancy or regulatory environment will also be considered.

You should have a good understanding of risk management principles and ideally some exposure to the UK regulatory environment, including PRA, FCA, EBA or DORA requirements.

Strong stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills are essential, alongside the ability to work effectively within a large and complex organisation.
