ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities will include: Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
Main duties of the job
The role of Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare involves working alongside the Care team to ensure high standards of personal care for residents while fostering a caring and supportive environment. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring residents' wellbeing, being involved in care planning processes, and supporting residents with their medication requirements. You will also have a role in overseeing staff development and acting as a point of contact between residents, their families, and healthcare professionals. - Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
- Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.

- Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment.
