We're partnering with a leading national organisation to recruit an experienced Procurement Lead who will play a pivotal role in delivering a major business transformation programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of strategic procurement activity, drive significant commercial value, and make a real impact across a large-scale operational business.

As a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you'll lead procurement initiatives from concept to contract award, challenge the status quo, and build high-performing supplier partnerships that deliver measurable results.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the end-to-end procurement lifecycle across key programme categories.
  • Developing and delivering sourcing strategies that drive value, efficiency and innovation.
  • Managing complex tenders and RFx processes through eSourcing platforms and traditional procurement routes.
  • Conducting market analysis and supplier evaluations to identify best-in-class solutions.
  • Negotiating commercial agreements and contract terms to secure the best outcomes.
  • Supporting Facilities and Property stakeholders with procurement and contract management activity.
  • Managing JCT contracts and ensuring robust governance and compliance.
  • Building and developing strategic supplier relationships through effective SRM.
  • Creating and monitoring KPIs and SLAs to drive supplier performance and continuous improvement.
  • Influencing and engaging stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience managing the full procurement lifecycle within a complex environment.
  • Strong category management and strategic sourcing experience.
  • Procurement and contract management expertise relating to JCT contracts.
  • Experience supporting Facilities and Property functions.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrable success delivering cost savings, value enhancement and risk mitigation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience leading procurement governance and supplier performance programmes.
  • Knowledge of eSourcing, contract management, SRM and procurement systems.
