Internal Recruiter (3 month Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Near Billericay (Hybrid Working)

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm)

Salary: £30K - £33K per annum

Start Date: Early September

About the Role

I am recruiting on behalf of our client for an enthusiastic Internal Recruiter to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong organisational and communication skills.

Previous recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential. They will welcome applicants with backgrounds in retail, hospitality, customer service, administration, or team leadership who are looking to develop a career within recruitment.

Working as part of a busy recruitment team, you will play a key role in supporting high-volume hiring activities for major retail clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Review applications and CVs to identify suitable candidates.
• Conduct telephone screening interviews and assess candidate suitability.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews for shortlisted applicants.
• Make verbal offers to successful candidates and issue offer documentation.
• Complete candidate administration and support HR handovers.
• Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of approximately 120 employees.
• Provide an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Excellent communication and telephone skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience in administration, customer service, retail supervision, hospitality management, recruitment coordination, or a similar people-focused role.
