An Outstanding-rated primary school in Southall is looking for an experienced HLTA or Primary Cover Supervisor to provide PPA and general classroom cover across the school.

The role is available to start ASAP, with the school keen to arrange interviews and trial days shortly for suitable candidates.

This is a teaching and classroom-based role rather than a planning position. Planning is provided, so the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering prepared lessons and managing classes effectively.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing PPA and general cover across the primary school
• Covering classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 as required
• Delivering pre-planned lessons provided by class teachers
• Managing behaviour and maintaining classroom routines
• Supporting pupils to remain engaged and on task
• Ensuring lessons run effectively in the absence of the class teacher
• Working with school staff to provide consistent support to pupils

The school is looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience covering primary classes
• Is confident managing a class independently
• Can follow and deliver existing lesson plans
• Has strong behaviour management skills
• Can adapt quickly between different year groups
• Is reliable, professional and confident working across a school

This role would suit an experienced HLTA, Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant with cover experience, or aspiring teacher who is comfortable taking responsibility for a class.

£105 per day PAYE

Monday-Friday | 8:15am-3:30pm
