We are recruiting Behaviour Mentors for specialist schools in Islington who can support pupils with SEMH needs in a calm, consistent and relationship-led way.

These schools place a strong focus on emotional wellbeing, communication, and helping pupils rebuild trust with adults in education.

• Supporting pupils who may present with challenging behaviour
• Acting as a key positive role model throughout the school day
• Helping pupils reflect and regulate emotions
• Working closely with pastoral and teaching teams
• Supporting reintegration into lessons and routines

• Experience working with young people (school, PRU, youth work, coaching etc.)
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Patient, resilient and non-reactive approach
• Ability to stay calm and consistent under pressure
• Genuine interest in supporting vulnerable learners
