Job summary
This is an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Vascular Surgeon to develop or expand their private practice within a well-established and respected healthcare provider.
You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with venous disease using minimally invasive, ultrasound-guided procedures. Working alongside highly skilled Registered Nurses and Clinic Teams, in modern purpose-built locations, you will provide expert care throughout the patient journey.
Main duties of the job
- Conduct patient consultations including carrying out duplex ultrasound scanning
- Interpret findings and formulate treatment plans
- Perform vein treatments using Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA) Foam and Micro Sclerotherapy
- Deliver excellent clinical outcomes and patient experience
- Maintain accurate and clinical records using EMR
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and best practice initiatives
About You
Applicants should possess:
- GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Substantial experience in performing endovenous venous procedures
- Strong ultrasound-guided procedural skills
- Excellent communication and patient-centred consultation skills
- A commitment to delivering outstanding clinical care
