Job summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Vascular Surgeon to develop or expand their private practice within a well-established and respected healthcare provider.

You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with venous disease using minimally invasive, ultrasound-guided procedures. Working alongside highly skilled Registered Nurses and Clinic Teams, in modern purpose-built locations, you will provide expert care throughout the patient journey.

Main duties of the job

  • Conduct patient consultations including carrying out duplex ultrasound scanning
  • Interpret findings and formulate treatment plans
  • Perform vein treatments using Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA) Foam and Micro Sclerotherapy
  • Deliver excellent clinical outcomes and patient experience
  • Maintain accurate and clinical records using EMR
  • Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and best practice initiatives

About You

Applicants should possess:

  • GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • Substantial experience in performing endovenous venous procedures
  • Strong ultrasound-guided procedural skills
  • Excellent communication and patient-centred consultation skills
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding clinical care
