Main duties of the job
About us
Longbarn Lane Surgery is a friendly and well-established GP practice based in Reading, providing comprehensive NHS primary care to our local patient population.
We have a supportive multidisciplinary team including GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, a Clinical Pharmacist, Paramedic Practitioner, First Contact Physiotherapist and Social Prescriber.
The practice has a triage-led appointment system, with patient requests reviewed by a GP or senior clinician and directed to the most appropriate clinician or service. This allows the practice to make effective use of the wider multidisciplinary team while ensuring patients receive appropriate GP care when required.
We offer a broad range of primary care services, including chronic disease management, family planning and contraception, child health surveillance and minor surgery. The practice is also a Veteran Friendly Accredited GP Practice.
We are looking for a GP who will work collaboratively with our team and contribute to providing safe, high-quality and patient-centred care.
