Job summary
Patient data administrator
(25 hours per week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12 - 5pm, Tuesday and Thursday 8.30 - 1.30pm)
The Hollies is a friendly, high-achieving GP practice based on the edge of Tamworth town centre, providing care to approximately 15,000 patients.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Patient Data Administrator to join our busy General Practice team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working with data, clinical systems and processes, and takes pride in ensuring patients receive timely care.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing recall programmes, supporting clinical teams, and maintaining accurate patient records. We are looking for someone who is methodical and able to understand and work confidently with clinical searches and reports.
This is a varied and responsible role suited to someone with previous experience iof general practice administration who is confident managing administrative tasks independently and using their own initiative in a fast-paced environment.

- Is confident working independently and using initiative to resolve non-clinical queries appropriately.
- Has exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Is highly computer literate and confident using clinical systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
- Works well both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience of using clinical systems such as EMIS Web, Accurx and Docman (desirable) or mail merges on microsoft word.
- The ability to prioritise workloads, follow protocols and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- An enquiring and analytical mind, with the ability to understand searches, identify anomalies and investigate issues.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
