Key Roles & Responsibilities-
Primary Pupil Support: Assist young children aged 2-11 with diverse special educational needs (SEN) across daily classroom activities, play, and structured learning.

Bespoke Learning Environment: Help deliver a tailored, adaptive curriculum, setting up engaging sensory and developmental spaces to encourage pupil participation.

Communication & Engagement: Support alternative communication methods, emotional regulation, and positive social interaction strategies.

Welfare & Development: Support pupils with pastoral care, personal development, and daily routines with warmth, patience, and dignity.

Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with primary class teachers, SENCOs, and specialist therapists to track progress and achieve Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets.

Experience: Previous professional background or strong volunteering experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Early Years, or primary education.

Key Attributes: High patience, empathy, emotional resilience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.

Compliance: Must hold a current, valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or be in a position to process one immediately) and be available to start straight away.
