Maintenance Production Planner

You will take ownership of maintenance planning to keep complex aviation maintenance programmes on schedule. This role offers clear responsibility, close collaboration across engineering functions and the opportunity to drive aircraft availability through effective planning and coordination.

The Maintenance Production Planner will:

  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules aligned with aircraft delivery and operational priorities.
  • Convert approved maintenance requirements into structured work packages and workable task sequences.
  • Coordinate labour, tooling, materials and specialist resources to support maintenance delivery.
  • Monitor planning performance, identify constraints and drive recovery actions where required.
  • Work closely with engineering, procurement, stores and continuing airworthiness teams to support aircraft availability.
  • Contribute to compliance, safety, quality and continuous improvement activities.

To be considered for this role, applicants will need to have a background in aviation maintenance planning, production planning or MRO operations. Including experience using maintenance planning systems or MRO software. You will need strong organisational and scheduling capability, as well as effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of continuing airworthiness planning, military aviation regulations or quality systems would be beneficial

Essential requirements:
  • Experience in aviation production planning, maintenance planning or MRO operations.
  • Strong understanding of Civil Aviation Authority Part 145 maintenance environments.
  • Experience coordinating resources, materials and maintenance schedules.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced operational setting.

In addition, the following would be highly desirable:
  • Knowledge of CAMO functions and AMP control
  • Experience in military or mixed-regulation environments (MAA, FAA, EASA)
  • Understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and quality frameworks
  • Familiarity with ISO standards ()

Salary and rewards
£40,000 plus up to 12% matched pension contribution.
