Change Manager (SEND)

Job Introduction

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Change Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering Staffordshire's ambitious SEND Improvement Programme, including the SEND Reforms.

You will project manage one of the priority projects within the SEND improvement plan to deliver the SEND Reforms.

You will also offer project support to all projects within the improvement programme, supporting project leads with project plans, risk logs and performance measures.

Working across education, health and care, you will provide project management to ensure this transformational model is co-designed, mobilised and embedded effectively across the local area partnership.

The roles are fixed term until end of March 2028.

Main Responsibility

You will:

  • Provide project management for your allocated area within the SEND Improvement Plan
  • Provide project management capacity across the wider SEND Improvement Plan overseeing planning, milestones, risks and performance, ensuring delivery against the Improvement Plan and national SEND reform expectations
  • Drive system-wide change through strong partnership working, governance and co-production with children, young people and families
The Ideal Candidate

You will bring:

  • Experience of delivering change or transformation projects within complex, multi-agency environments
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver at pace
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across organisational boundaries
  • A commitment to inclusive practice and improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND
