We are seeking an enthusiastic Salaried GP to become part of our friendly and well-organised team of six GPs, supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary workforce. Main duties of the job
- Undertaking routine and urgent clinical consultations, both face-to-face and remotely.
- Assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of acute and long-term health conditions.
- Managing a personal patient list, promoting continuity of care and building strong therapeutic relationships.
- Providing health promotion, preventative care, and patient education.
- Prescribing medications and reviewing treatment plans in line with current clinical guidelines.
- Reviewing laboratory results, clinical correspondence, and patient records using EMIS Web and Anima.
- Working closely with the practice's multidisciplinary team, including Clinical Pharmacists, Care Coordinators, Physician Associate, and GP Assistant.
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and service development projects.
- Supporting the training and development of colleagues where appropriate.
- Participating in practice meetings and contributing to the strategic development of the practice.
- Maintaining accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical records.
- Complying with GMC standards, NHS policies, safeguarding requirements, and practice governance procedures.

Clinical Duties- Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and home visit consultations in line with practice requirements.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of health conditions.
- Make autonomous clinical decisions and develop appropriate treatment and care plans.
- Screen for disease risk factors and promote health education and preventative care.
- Prescribe safely and in accordance with local and national prescribing guidelines.
