Interim Finance Business Partner

Trinity House Group is supporting a well established logistics and distribution business in the East Midlands with the appointment of an Interim Finance Business Partner.
This is an opportunity to join a busy, operationally focused organisation where finance plays a key role in supporting decision making across the business. You'll work closely with operational and commercial leaders, turning numbers into practical insight that helps improve performance.
The role

• Partner with operational and commercial teams, providing clear, timely financial insight and challenge
• Lead month end reporting and variance analysis for your areas, explaining the story behind the numbers
• Support budgeting, reforecasting and longer term planning
• Analyse costs and margins across warehousing, transport and distribution to identify improvement opportunities
• Build strong relationships with non finance stakeholders and help improve their financial understanding
• Support ad hoc analysis and projects as business priorities develop

About you

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experience
• Proven business partnering experience, ideally within logistics, distribution, food, FMCG or another fast paced operational environment
• Confident communicator who can influence and challenge at all levels
• Strong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to make complex information simple
• Available immediately or at short notice, and able to make an impact quickly
