Job summary

As a Registered Nurse in our 16-bed Intensive Care Unit, you will provide safe, effective and evidence-based care to critically ill and acutely unwell patients as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

You will undertake comprehensive patient assessments, develop and evaluate individualised care plans, coordinate discharge planning and contribute to positive patient outcomes. You will also have opportunities to support education, audit, clinical governance and the ongoing development of nursing practice.

Our purpose-built Intensive Care Unit provides a modern, safe and supportive environment for patients, families and staff. Facilities include ceiling-mounted equipment pendants, positive and negative pressure side rooms, dedicated family areas and quiet spaces, excellent staff facilities, accessible amenities and separate staff and visitor entrances.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills, work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and make a meaningful difference to patients and their families during a critical time in their care.

We welcome informal visits from prospective applicants who would like to learn more about the role and meet the team.
