Job summary
Are you curious, analytical and passionate about improving health and care services?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Strategic Implementation, Insight & Portfolio Management team, supporting the development of Dorset's Integrated Health Organisation (IHO) and a wide range of transformation programmes.
This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of strategic delivery. You will work across programme management, business analysis, insight, evaluation and improvement activity, helping turn organisational priorities into measurable outcomes.
From developing reports and board briefings to supporting workshops, analysing data and evaluating benefits, no two days will be the same. You will work closely with senior leaders and partners across the organisation and wider health and care system.
We are looking for someone who can gather and interpret complex information, produce high-quality written work, manage competing priorities and build effective working relationships. Experience of supporting projects, programmes or service improvement initiatives is essential. NHS, transformation, programme management or business analysis experience would be advantageous.
In return, we offer an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in strategic implementation, integrated care, portfolio management, evaluation and organisational improvement within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
Main duties of the job
- Support the development of the Integrated Health Organisation (IHO) proposition through research, evidence gathering, stakeholder engagement and analysis.
- Support the development of strategic propositions, implementation plans, portfolio oversight arrangements, business cases, performance reporting, benefits realisation and evaluation activity through the provision of high-quality analysis, research, project management and stakeholder engagement support.
- Gather and interpret complex information, produce high-quality written work, manage competing priorities and build effective working relationships across stakeholders.
- Support the translation of agreed priorities into implementation plans, milestones, actions and deliverables.
- Support the identification of opportunities which may improve organisational performance, outcomes and productivity.
- Monitor progress against agreed milestones and support the production of performance and assurance reports.
- Contribute to the development of a culture of evidence-based decision making, organisational learning, continuous improvement and outcome-focused delivery across the Federated Dorset HealthCare and Dorset County Hospital.
Please note visa sponsorship for this role is unfortunately not available. Ensure you hold valid right to work in the UK and will not require sponsorship if successful.
