Interim Organisational Design Lead

The Opportunity;

Are you a genuine organisational design specialist who can turn strategy into a practical operating model and help a complex organisation deliver significant transformation?

We are supporting a large, complex organisation seeking an experienced interim to provide immediate expertise and additional delivery capacity.

This is not a traditional organisational development or change management role. You will work with senior leaders to translate strategic priorities into macro organisation and operating model designs, bringing structure, methodology and momentum to complex transformation activity.

The role;

You will:

• Lead organisation and operating model design from concept through to implementation.
• Facilitate senior-level workshops and guide leaders through complex design decisions.
• Work alongside business architecture, business analysis, service design, technology and people change teams.
• Introduce practical frameworks, tools and processes that create greater consistency and rigour.
• Balance collaboration and consultation with the need to maintain pace and make commercial decisions.
• Coach internal practitioners and transfer knowledge, leaving stronger organisational design capability behind.

This opportunity offers hybrid working with c.1 day per week in Manchester.

What we’re looking for;

You will have deep, demonstrable experience of strategic organisation design and operating model delivery across complex environments. You will be credible with senior stakeholders, comfortable having your thinking challenged and able to influence through evidence and expertise.

Most importantly, your experience will extend beyond advisory work. You must be able to demonstrate where you have personally taken organisation design from strategy and high-level concepts through to practical delivery and implementation.
